Woody Johnson Breaks Silence

It’s been a while since we have heard from owner Woody Johnson. Until now. He spoke to the media at the NFL owners meetings today, and here are some interesting tweets to come from that interview:

With the lock down instituted by John Idzik, he is likely not happy about this confirmation. But, he’s the boss, he can do what he likes.

This sounds to me as if they want Jackson badly. But, they don’t think they are going to need to make a trade. Woody sounds like he is saying that if they hold out, he will be released, and able to be signed.

Then, the question will be if he fits in. They will talk to him, and make their own decision, after he gets released.

Here is Woody on Michael Vick:

What do you think?

The clown media is at it again. They make it sound like Woody is pushing for a trade. Here is what he said:

“[Jackson is] a very good player, but we’re looking at a number of them. A trade is not our primary operating motif right now. We’re trying to build through the draft. Building through the draft is something that I
think is the way to build a successful team long term.”

They never put his quote out there just their view of what he was saying. What a bunch of clowns.

However, there is talk that quote may be seen as tampering. I highly doubt the league would take such a strong stance over the statement, it is possible. But you’re absolutely right…the New York Sports Media will make a story out of anything!!! Bunch of buffoons for the most part!
