Report: Captain Munnerlyn Signs with the Vikings

Well, there goes one of the Cro contingency plans. Per Ian Rappaport, Captain Munnerlyn is headed elsewhere:

As reported last night, the Jets were set to have Munnerlyn for a visit, but that apparently won’t be necessary any longer, as the Captain is off to Minnesota.

Where do the Jets go now? Well, a reunion with Antonio Cromartie is not out of the realm of possibility, but he was reported to be visiting with the Cardinals, so he seems to be making plans elsewhere.

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is still available, and I have heard the Jets are discussing possibilities with him. No word on whether or not he is interested or how the two sides are doing on that front.

This is definitely a position of need at this point, so hopefully John Idzik has something in mind at the cornerback spot, because I am not prepared for Dee Milliner and Kyle Wilson as a tandem.
