This softens the Revis blow tonight, a lot. John Idzik has made his move, ladies and gentlemen. Here is the tweet from Eric Allen from the Jets:
The Jets have agreed to terms with WR Eric Decker.

Here are the financials, per Adam Schefter:
Jets are giving former Broncos WR Eric Decker a 5-year, $36.25M deal, including $15M gtd, per source.

This is the move that the Jets’ fans have been waiting for. They wanted it before the Darrelle Revis signing, but even more so after the news broke that Darrelle was headed to New England.
Here are his career stats to date:
Receiving & Rushing
His coming out party has been over the last two seasons, where he has amassed approximately 2,300 receiving yards. Some of that has to be credited to Peyton Manning, who brings out the best in anybody, but Decker is a quality receiver. You see that in his numbers from 2011, which were still solid before Manning got there.
Great job out of John Idzik and company tonight.
