With all due respect to Ed Reed, the really confused look on his face is appropriate for this news update.

Ed Reed, throughout his career, has been the one doing the stealing, with 64 interceptions in his career with the Ravens, Texans and Jets. However, according to a report in the New York Post, Reed has $50,000 stolen from his car.

Here is the kicker, he left the money on his front seat.

Henceforth, the choice of the stupid expression to the right.

According to the report, the robbers were able to get the car window open, and take the money, which was in a bag on the front seat.  He was making a stop at a local bank.

Stories like this just reiterate the opinion that athletes are not too bright.  A player that has been able to thwart opposing quarterbacks as many times as Ed Reed has, should have the brains to not leave $50,000 on the front seat of his car for all to see.

But, there are very few Chad Pennington‘s in the group of athletes.  Most of them are…well…glad they are good at sports, and we will leave it at that.
