New York Jets Long Odds to Win Super Bowl 49

With Super Bowl 48 in the books, everyone’s attention is turned to the new season. All of the teams are back to 0-0. Who’s going to win it next year? Well the odds makers have spoken, and they don’t like the Jets to make a lot of noise for Super Bowl 49.

Specifically, they have laid the Jets’ odds at 66-1 to be the next Super Bowl champions. It’s really not surprising, going into the year with a second year quarterback, and lacking weapons on the offense. 66-1 is still pretty steep in my opinion, but we shall see what happens.

For anyone who is interested, here are the odds for the entire league:

Seattle Seahawks – 5/1
San Francisco 49ers – 7/1
Denver Broncos – 10/1
New England Patriots – 12/1
Green Bay Packers – 14/1
Carolina Panthers – 20/1
Indianapolis Colts – 20/1
New Orleans Saints – 20/1
Atlanta Falcons – 25/1
Chicago Bears – 25/1
Kansas City Chiefs – 25/1
Philadelphia Eagles – 25/1
Cincinnati Bengals – 28/1
Arizona Cardinals – 33/1
Dallas Cowboys – 33/1
Detroit Lions – 33/1
Houston Texans – 33/1
New York Giants – 33/1
Pittsburgh Steelers – 33/1
San Diego Chargers – 33/1
Baltimore Ravens – 40/1
St. Louis Rams – 40/1
Miami Dolphins – 50/1
Tampa Bay Buccaneers – 50/1
Washington Redskins – 50/1
Cleveland Browns – 66/1
New York Jets – 66/1
Tennessee Titans – 66/1
Buffalo Bills – 75/1
Minnesota Vikings – 75/1
Jacksonville Jaguars – 100/1
Oakland Raiders – 100/1

Personally, most of the odds are pretty fair.  I think the Ravens at 40/1 is a good play, as are the Chargers at 33/1.

We will see how it plays out soon enough.
