Nick Mangold is headed back to Hawaii.

With the Pro Bowl set for next week, and the Super Bowl matchup set, it is that time where players are chosen for the Pro Bowl to replace the Super Bowl players.

This season is not any different. With the Seahawks heading to NY for the big game, center Max Unger will not take part in the game in Hawaii. So, who was selected to take his place?

None other than our guy, the great Nick Mangold. Sunday will mark Mangold’s fifth appearance in the annual all-star game, over eight seasons. Mangold will be the only Jet to play on Sunday, as Muhammad Wilkerson and Antonio Cromartie were alternate selections.

It will be an interesting week as we move towards the Pro Bowl. For the first time, the teams are not set, and will be drafted fantasy style by Deion Sanders and Jerry Rice. It also could make the week interesting.
