The “Road to MetLife Stadium” continues…….

Two games today, two games tomorrow. Today, we are going to take a look at the games set for tomorrow. Two more very interesting games, so without further adieu, let’s get to it. Who take the next step towards a February date at MetLife Stadium?

This one should prove to be interesting. You have two teams that have strong defenses. Two teams that have scrambling quarterbacks in Cam Newton and Colin Kaepernick. DeAngelo Williams and Frank Gore give their respective teams strong running attacks. So, who comes out on top in this one? Well, it will be a close call. The 49ers, to me, edge this one out with a slightly better defense than Carolina. Gore and Kendall Hunter are better than DeAngelo Williams. They are two similar teams, but the 49ers are slightly better. That is why I am taking the 49ers.

After an impressive 27-10 victory of the Bengals, Philip Rivers and the rest of the San Diego Chargers head into Denver to face Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. Denver enters the game with a 13-3 record, and a 7-1 home record. Who did they suffer their only loss to? The San Diego Chargers.

Can the Chargers do it again? They can, sure they can. However, John Fox and company are going to be more than ready for the Chargers’ attack this time. They will have made the adjustments necessary to win, and I have believed that, under Peyton Manning, this Broncos’ team is a team of destiny. I believe Manning will hoist his second trophy when this is all done, so take the Broncos.

Enjoy the games.
