Geno Smith had an up and down 2013. Not that it was a surprise, typically this is the result when you start a rookie quarterback. But, he did have a great deal of highs. Comeback wins, game-winning drives, scrambles, clutch passes. Geno Smith got it done, a lot.

Tonight, I thought it might be fun just to take a look at some highlights. Our friends at Gang Green Nation put together a highlight video of some of Geno’s play from 2013.  Take a look:

Whatever people think about how Geno ended up the starter, and there WERE mixed feelings after the preseason game against the Giants, it is undeniable that Geno Smith has great potential. He has a gun for an arm, and has the ability to use his feet as a lethal weapon, one that cannot be taught.

If he can continue his consistent decision making, Geno will convince the world that he is the quarterback of the future. I know that he will be exciting to watch develop in his second year.
