Well, we may still be waiting for the final opponent to be decided(at the time of this post), but we do know when the games will be taking place, as the NFL has announced the Wild Card weekend schedule:

Saturday January 4, at 4:35 PM: Kansas City Chiefs at the Indianapolis Colts

Saturday January 4, at 8:00 PM: New Orleans Saints at the Eagles/Cowboys winner

Sunday January 5, at 1:00 PM: San Diego Chargers at the Cincinnati Bengals

Sunday January 5, at 4:35 PM: San Francisco 49ers at the Green Bay Packers

These are four games that should be quite interesting. Often, the Wild Card weekend games are the most fun to watch because the teams are so evenly matched. These are definitely some evenly matched teams here, and it should make for some exciting games next week.

The 49ers and Packers are a rivalry revisited, having gone up against each other in the playoffs gone by in the 90′s. But every one of these games has the potential to be excellent.

Can’t wait.
