The man pictured to the right kicked his team to a win on Monday Night Football, and kicked the Jets out of contention for the playoffs.

Justin Tucker kicked a 61 yard field goal to give his Baltimore Ravens an 18-16 win over the Detroit Lions. With that, the Ravens control their own destiny with regards to a playoff berth in the AFC, controlling the sixth and final playoff spot in the conference.

Also with it, the Jets are officially out of the AFC playoff hunt, marking the third straight season that the Jets will not make the playoffs. The Jets will play out the string this week, hosting the Cleveland Browns, and playing the final week in Miami against the Dolphins.

The only story left to be told now is Rex’s job. Can the Jets save it over the last two weeks? Does he stay if the team goes 8-8? Does he go at 6-10 or 7-9? Has the decision already been made?

The games mean nothing as far as the playoffs are concerned, but they certainly mean a lot as far as the future of the head coach.
