The New York Jets receiving corps remains banged up with Santonio Holmes and Kellen Winslow still limited, and Hill held out of practice. Cromartie says he feels fine and wants to play this weekend, but he still has to go through the NFL concussion protocols. The good news is that Kerley continues to be a full participant in practice, and since he is likely the best receiver on the Jets roster, this bodes well for the offense going into a match up with one of the toughest teams the Jets will play all season.
On the other side of the match up Panthers running back Jonathan Stewert was held out of practice for a second straight day with a knee injury. Some of their offensive and defensive line men also made it onto the injury report bit with minor issues keeping them practicing in full. The Panthers are looking healthy going into this game while the Jets are hurting at several key positions the team has already struggled with so far in this season.
