Friday afternoon football fans. More importantly, it’s a football Friday for a week 14, which means, it’s time for this week’s NFL picks. Last week was a little bit rough, as we posted another 0-2-1 week. The only potential win came from Chip Kelly and the Eagles, but unfortunately they won by three. So it is what it is.
So we move along with a 17-20-2 record. Time to move along and make our picks for a week 14 in the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE. Here we go…..
GAME ONE: BROWNS AT PATRIOTS
We start with a team that I don’t like to talk about, the New England Patriots. The Browns come into Foxboro, and they are not in good shape. Josh Gordon has entered the record book with back to back 200 yard performances. But, they don’t have much else going on. We don’t even know, as of the writing of this, who will be starting at quarterback. The Patriots are favored by 13, and as much as I hate to say it, Tom Brady and company will win by more than 13. Take the…….
Patriots -13 over the Browns
GAME TWO: LIONS AT EAGLES
Game two, we head to Philadelphia to visit Chip Kelly and the Eagles. The Eagles are coming off of a three-point win over Bruce Arians and the Cardinals. They face a Lions’ team coming off a blow out of the Packers on Thanksgiving day. Granted the Packers were without Aaron Rodgers, but that doesn’t take the win away from them.
The Lions and Eagles are virtually even in points allowed per game, the Eagles allow 23.4 while the Lions allow 23.9. The Eagles are favored by three, but I think the Lions will take this one outright. Take the….
Lions +3 over the Eagles
GAME THREE: PANTHERS AT SAINTS
Sunday night football for the final game. The Saints, coming off of the bludgeoning at the hands of the Seahawks, return to New Orleans for some home cooking. The Panthers come into town, and frankly, they have no chance. There isn’t a lot to say about this one. We all know how good the Saints are at home, this one won’t be close. The Saints are favored by 3.5. This is an easy choice. Take the….
Saints -3.5 over the Panthers
There are your three choices: the Patriots, the Eagles, and the Saints.
