Chanukah rolls on, ladies and gentlemen. Happy sixth night to all of our fans and readers that are celebrating. It’s time once again to continue opening our Jets’ presents. Let’s review what I have received so far:
On the first night, I received a clean breakup from Mark Sanchez.
Then, I got a voucher for a wide receiver in the first round of the next draft.
Next was a promise to not draft a fullback for a minimum of two years.
On the fourth night, I was given barbed wire and electrical cords to keep out all negative beat reporters.
Finally, last night the gift box held some replacement parts for Stephen Hill.
So, time to open the sixth box. The prayers are complete, the candles are lit. Time to sit down by the menorah and see what tonight’s Jets gift is.
I sit down, and open the box. In that box is another piece of paper, again a voucher. This one is a different voucher than the others, as it has to do with next season’s schedule. What is the voucher for?
ONE FLEX GAME IN 2014
One game for the Jets, to be flexed to Sunday night at some point in 2014. It’s obvious why this is a nice gift. This is a gift, indirectly, of the Jets being a good team in 2014, good enough to be considered to have a game flexed.
I’ll certainly take that one.
