Preview: Dolphins @ Jets Tickets

This roller coaster of a season for the New York Jets appears to be winding down as they have dropped two straight to the Bills and Ravens respectively. This week they return home after that brutal stretch of road games to MetLife Stadium where they have won four games on the season with two of them coming over the New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints, both teams that lead their respective divisions.

The magnitude of this game can not be overstated for either team as this is a must-win game if they have any hope of making it to the Playoffs as a loss will put them out of contention. Jets tickets for this game at MetLife Stadium has trended down by 27% over the past week and are currently averaging just $167 per seat with a Get-in price of $55. That price tag is 9% below the average price for Jets tickets at MetLife this season, but 21% above the average price for Dolphins tickets on the road.

Geno Smith has been one of the main catalysts for this up and down season as he has helped lead the Jets to four 4th Quarter and Overtime victories this year but only has thrown for 8 touchdowns while also has accounted for an abysmal 25 turnovers this season (18 INT and 7 fumbles). The Jets will live and die by Geno Smith in this game so if he can keep from turning the ball and make some plays with his feet the Jets should have a great chance to beat this AFC East rival.

The Miami Dolphins too have dealt with their fair share of controversy this year as the Jonathan Martin situation came to a head a few weeks ago and has been cause for outcries about bullying in the NFL. Since that story first developed the Dolphins have gone 2-2 and now sit even with the Jets at 5-6 as both teams try to finagle their way into the last Wild Card spot.
