New York Jets vs Buffalo Bills Friday Injury Report

Anthony Gruppuso-USA TODAY Sports

Sunday the New York Jets will face off against the Buffalo Bills in Buffalo, a rematch of the week three game between the two. The game starts at 1:00pm. Here is the official injury report, starting with the Jets.

New York Jets

Out: WR Jeremy Kerley (elbow), LB Garrett McIntyre (knee)

Probable: S Antonio Allen (concussion), G Willie Colon (calf), WR Joshua Cribbs (knee), CB Antonio Cromartie (hip), TE Jeff Cumberland (concussion), DE Leger Douzable (illness), DT Kenrick Ellis (back), RB Alex Green (hamstring), WR Stephen Hill (foot, knee), WR Santonio Holmes (foot, hamstring), RB Chris Ivory (knee), LB Calvin Pace (hip), WR Greg Salas (knee), TE Zach Sudfeld (knee), CB Darrin Walls (shoulder), TE Kellen Winslow (knee)

Buffalo Bills

Out: WR Steve Johnson (groin), WR Robert Woods (ankle)

Probable: S Da’Norris Searcy (hamstring), DT Kyle Williams (achilles)

There are two big things that jump out at me. First on the Jets side is that Santonio Holmes is probable. He will finally be making his return after suffering that hamstring injury against the Tennessee Titans during week four. That is huge with Jeremy Kerley officially being ruled out for Sunday. Now, on the Bills side, what jumps out at me is Steve Johnson is out. When I saw his name on Wednesday’s report, I became instantly intrigued in seeing how he progressed. The Bills didn’t see the progress they wanted so he will sit out. That is big for this Jets defense, especially since Robert Woods was ruled out on Wednesday as well.
