Mo Wilkerson has been every bit the All-Pro we expected him to be. Last Sunday, he extended his sack streak to five straight games, and eight in his last seven games from MetLife. But that didn’t stop him from sharing the praise with the guy to the right, Quinton Coples.

Coples may have only made two tackles, but one was huge, coming on a fourth down conversion attempt by the Saints. He also batted down a Drew Brees pass. Mo noticed:

“He did a great job getting pressure — all the guys did up front,” Mo said. “Q definitely had a breakout game today, and we expect that from him every week.”

Here is what Quinton had to say about the fourth down play:

“I was thinking Brees was going to put it away and throw the ball,” Coples said. “But when he handed it off, my eyes just got big because I knew I was going to run right through him.”

If the defense keeps improving like this, the sky is the limit.
