6) Jets secondary plays better but can’t cover Jimmy Graham or Lance Moore - Jimmy Graham no longer shows any signs of injury and was mostly uncoverable in the first half with 4 catches for 72 yards and 2 touchdowns. Lance Moore had 3 catches for 42 yards most were at big moments in the game. They are helping out a very confused Drew Brees who called all 3 timeouts in the 1st quarter and 2 delay of game penalties.

7) Defensive line played mean - The defense got pressure from Wilkerson as well as Coples and Richardson and when it got there it affected the quarterback but when it didn’t Drew Brees will pick you apart with time. Wilkerson was dominant with a sack, multiple pressures and quarterback hits. Quinton Coples showed signs of life with 2 quarterback hits and was in the face of Brees. He also stopped a 4th down run that resulted in a turnover on downs. Richardson was able to get through to the pocket up the middle. The whole group played angry.

8) Special teams very special except Quigley - Nick Folk made 4 more field goals one from 39 yards another from 21, a 3rd from 48 and a 4th from 45 yards. All of Folks kickoffs were touchbacks in the first half despite some being short. His second half kickoffs were returned to around the 20 yard line. Josh Cribbs had 5 kickoff returns for 134 yards including a huge 42 yard return that set up a Jet touchdown late in the first half. Quigley had one decent punt but his second punt was a shank that left the Saints with great field position at their own 43. Quigley averaged a mere 42.8 yards per punt.

With wins over perennial pro bowler Matt Ryan, multiple Super Bowl champion and MVP Tom Brady, and now former Super Bowl champion and MVP Drew Brees, I feel Rex has done enough for a contract extension. Third youngest team in the nfl with a rookie qb and with everyone saying the jets would be the worst team in the NFL I simply say PAY THE MAN!

Rex doesn’t get the credit he deserves. What other coach could win as much with so little. He was saddled with Mark and Geno is still a rookie. If he had Brady he would have won multiple Super Bowls.

Amazing! I love how the clown haters get embarrassed every other week by our
beloved Jets! Whenever every so called expert picks against the Jets you
know they will win! The whole week we had to endure the idiotic talk
about Milliner, Geno, Rex, etc. Just glad they showed those haters!
It’ll be relatively quiet again for at least 2 weeks! Go Jets!
