Another Friday, another football Friday. Time once again for our NFL football picks. Last week, we went 2-1, the only loss coming at the hands of the Washington Redskins. So we finally have reached the high water mark of the year so far, eclipsing .500 with a 12-11-1 mark.

You guys know the deal by now. The picks are recreational, and we don’t take any responsibility for any financial losses that come as a result of these picks. So, as always, let’s get to our picks, week number nine, in the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE!

COWBOYS -10.5 OVER THE VIKINGS: We start this week in Dallas. Tony Romo and the Cowboys take on AP and the Minnesota Vikings. This is a large spread at 10.5, but being the Cowboys are at home, and the Vikings’ situation is, well, we know how bad it is. The quarterback situation is about as unsettled as it gets, and when you don’t have a quarterback, you don’t have very much. The Cowboys will put eight in the box, and dare Adrian Peterson to, well, do anything, and it won’t be easy. Take the…

CHIEFS -3.5 OVER THE BILLS: To me, the story of the season is happening in Kansas City right now. For all of the talent that are on these teams, the “x factor” can be that head coach. Andy Reid stepped in and took a two win team to where they are right now. Alex Smith joined him, and they are 8-0, and really not showing any signs of letting up.

They take on a Bills team that has a banged up C.J. Spiller, and a quarterback in E.J. Manuel that is improving, but not ready to come back yet. The fact that the Bills are at home will not make a difference here. Look for the Chiefs to continue their undefeated season. Take the……..

PATRIOTS -7 OVER THE STEELERS: Time for the upset choice of the week. Is anyone surprised? If I have the chance to pick against New England, of course I am going to do it. And this is the week.

This is not the Patriots team that we have seen in the past. The offense is still not where it should be, I don’t care if Gronkowski is back. They just don’t blow people out the same way that they used to. There are times when Big Ben and Todd Haley are not on the same page either, but what they can do is attack down the field.

The Steelers may not win the game, but they won’t lose by a touchdown. Take the….
