Well if this comes to pass, probably will hear tomorrow for sure, this is not good news for the New York Jets.

Mike Goodson hurt his knee today, and it turns out that it may be pretty severe. He is scheduled for an MRI, but according to a report from Jets Insider, the results won’t reveal what the team wants to hear.  According to a source close to Insider, Goodson’s injury will shut him down for the rest of the 2013 season.

This is horrible news for a team that as we all know, doesn’t have a roster that is lined with playmakers.  Goodson has been a dash of speed that the team has needed.  It also has been a successful return for Goodson who we know started the season with some trouble with the law.

Hopefully we are able to get Goodson back soon rather than later.  But if the Insider report is correct, and Goodson is done for the year, it will be a big blow for the New York Jets’ offense.
