The story of the day here is that Shane Vereen was placed on injured reserve. He is designated to return, but not for eight weeks, so he is out on Thursday night. Reports are that Danny Amendola will not play as well, which will be a big loss, as he is the definition of “gritty” from his role in the slot.

The hope that Gronkowski had to play is fading away as well, which is a big sign for us.
