New York Jets vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Wednesday Injury Report

We know the season is here when it’s injury report time. Here is the first injury report of the week, first for Tampa Bay:

TE Tom Crabtree Ankle
CB Rashaan Melvin Hamstring
G Carl Nicks Foot

RB Mike James Eye
FB Erik Lorig Calf

CB Darrelle Revis Knee

I guess that takes away any doubt as to whether not our old friend Darrelle will play on Sunday. We will monitor Carl Nicks as the week goes on as well.

Now for our New York Jets:

DL Quinton Coples Ankle
DL Leger Douzable Illness
QB Mark Sanchez Rt Shoulder
TE Kellen Winslow Knee

DB Antonio Cromartie Hip
DL Kenrick Ellis Back
WR Santonio Holmes Foot

LB Nick Bellore Oblique
OL Willie Colon Knee/Shoulder
OL Vlad Ducasse Calf
WR Clyde Gates Shoulder
LB David Harris Hip
LB Damon Harrison Knee
WR Stephen Hill Knee
OL Ben Ijalana Knee
WR Jeremy Kerley Finger
DB Ellis Lankster Foot/Hamstring
DB Dee Milliner Achilles
QB Matt Simms Calf/Oblique
QB Geno Smith Ankle
OL Brian Winters Ankle

No real surprises here. Mark didn’t practice so he is out, which we knew was coming. Coples has been assumed to be out, so that confirms our suspicion there as well. There is no worry that Cromartie won’t be able to go, so rest easy.

We will have an update tomorrow.
