New York Jets Roster Update: Brady Quinn in, Graham Harrell Out

Another day, and the quarterback rotation continues with the New York Jets.

On this Labor Day, the Jets made a switch, saying goodbye to Graham Harrell, and bringing in Brady Quinn.

Quinn had some success in Cleveland in 2009, starting 9 games, throwing for 8 TDs vs 7 INTs. Overall for his career, Brady has a 64.4 quarterback rating, with 12 TDs vs 17 INTs, and a 53.8% completion rate.

Brady Quinn was most recently with the Seattle Seahawks, which would lead one to believe there was a relationship between Quinn and John Idzik. That must have played a part here, because it’s hard to imagine that the team has an sights on Quinn taking the field.

What’s more likely is that Mark Sanchez is more seriously injured than the team is letting on. That is pretty obvious, although the team is waiting until the required day of Wednesday to give out any information.

We’ll find out soon enough, even though we already know what we are going to hear. It’s a new day in New York.
