New York Jets Roster-Cuts: Mohamed Massaquoi Out, Danny Lansanah In

The news continues to come out in drips and drabs regarding the Jets roster updates.

First of all, after a great camp, Danny Lansanah has made the team at linebacker, take a look at his tweet:

Congratulations to Danny on his hard work.

As far as cuts are concerned, it was just reported that Mohamed Massaquoi has been released. This is an interesting move, as it was assumed that his sticking around made for the end of Braylon Edwards. Does that mean that Braylon might be back after week one, when the salaries aren’t guaranteed? Time will tell.

Other moves being reported are the cuts of DL Tevita Finau, and CB Mike Edwards, and CB Rontez Miles.

RB Mossis Madu has been let go as well, as part of an injury settlement due to a concussion.

At the time of this post, there is approximately 90 minutes before all cuts are due. We will keep you posted.
