Well, this isn’t much of an update, but it is all I have, so I bring it to you guys.

Approximately an hour ago, the Jets announced that Mark Sanchez will be out for the game against the Eagles on Thursday night. His status is day to day.

What is curious about the announcement is that there is no information about his shoulder. Is there a bruise? Strained muscle? Who really knows. The Jets are being vague about the injury, reminding some of the days with Eric Mangini.

There isn’t even an update on the results of an MRI. Do the Jets not have the results yet? Are they keeping the results from us? I understand that John Idzik is keeping most information on the down low, but they can give us a little bit on an injury, can’t they?

It will be interesting to see what information comes out in the next few days. Rex’s season could ride on it.

I think day to day pretty much states that the injury isn’t serious! Much ado about nothing. Typical media and football fans letting their emotions get the better of them instead of using deductive reasoning and waiting for more information.

Sounds that way but I still want to hear about the MRI before I am sure

Jay Galzer fox sports said his Jet sources told him that Sanchez’s MIR was inconclusive—AKA –nothing real bad

      Hope so
