Well, we have been here before in life, now haven’t we?

A report from our buddy Jake Steinberg a few minutes ago has informed us that WR Vidal Hazelton has torn his ACL and is finished for 2013. You will remember earlier today, we reported how he had to be carted off the practice field following a collision with Dee Milliner. He tried to walk off but wasn’t able to. Now we know why.

Tough break for Hazelton who had been making a nice push lately to make this team. He caught a long TD pass during the Green and White scrimmage the other night, although I am told it was due to a busted coverage.

One man’s misfortune may very well be another’s opportunity, however. With Hazelton going down, this could be another way for Ryan Spadola to get in the door. He has been performing quite well so far, and even spent some time with the first unit in practice this morning. We will see if that happens on Friday.
