A couple of thoughts here:

  • His ranking of the quarterbacks shows you just how uncertain this class is at the position.  The highest ranked QB is Geno Smith at 21 overall and EJ Manuel at 41.  Many have them potentially going top 15, so the opinions on these QB’s are wide-ranging.
  • Jarvis Jones is ranked 19th.  Jones has stated that the Jets are high on him, and we very likely will see him chosen tonight by John Idzik and company.
  • Two offensive weapons tied recently to the Jets are ranked 12 and 13, Tavon Austin and Tyler Eifert.
  • Another guy the Jets are high on, Mayock is not.  Rex Ryan worked out Margus Hunt at DE and LB, the way he did Quinton Coples last year.  Mayock has him at 39th.

Just a little while longer, we can finally begin to see how this all turns out.
