Well, our next step on the road to the regular season won’t come as quickly as we hoped.

The regular season NFL schedule was set to come out, at some point, during the day tomorrow. It was going to be a big day for football fans everywhere, as we all know that the release of the schedule is just another step forward towards the return of the regular season. However, citing delays in the process, league spokesperson Greg Aiello has announcdd that the announcement has been postponed.

When will it be? Well, Aiello wasn’t certain, but hinted that the release could be rescheduled within the next few weeks. No official date has been set yet, however.

It clearly is one of the toughest jobs to have. Unscrambling this big group of teams to decide who plays when? Who gets primetime games? How many? It’s a daunting task, and I am sure it would cause me to lose my hair as quickly as anybody. It just doesn’t take away the let down, however, of thinking we would hear the schedule and now we aren’t.
