New York Jets: Top Ten Draft Picks of the 1990′s: #3

Despite the fact that he may not be on the team when the ball is placed on the tee for week one, we know how great of a draft pick Darrelle Revis was. Not only did we name him the #1 draft pick since the year 2000, he would be near the top of a list of Jets top draft picks ever.

But, he is not the only defensive back that the Jets have drafted, and another has made our current list. As you probably know by now, we are counting down the Jets’ top ten draft picks of the 1990’s. Here is the list so far:

10. Jason Ferguson
09. Richie Anderson
08. Jason Fabini
07. Keyshawn Johnson
06. James Farrior
05. Rob Moore
04. Adrian Murrell

Now, for choice number 3.  As I said earlier, this player also is a defensive back.  He was chosen in the first round of the 1994 NFL draft, the 12th pick overall.  In eight years in the green and white, this player was elected to the Pro Bowl twice (1997-98), and named All Pro twice (1997-1998),

He was so highly regarded by coach Parcells that he acquired this guy again at the end of his career while he was the Dallas Cowboys.  Who is he?

AARON GLENN

Aaron makes the list in part because of longevity. He did play 8 seasons with the Jets before moving on. As we mentioned before, he was a two time All-Pro in a Jets uniform, as well as being elected to the Pro Bowl twice. He came into his own beginning in 1998, with 18 INT’s over his last four seasons in green.

Aaron Glenn made his mark on the team, and earned his spot on this countdown.
