So, it seems that the Jets are serious about bringing in a pass rusher. There is some news that will have a lot of Jets fans happy.

Manish Mehta from the Daily News is reporting that after visiting with the Philadelphia Eagles today, Dion Jordan will make the move north on I-95 to visit with the New York Jets tonight and tomorrow. This really is no surprise, as Jordan has been a guy deemed to be high on the Jets’ list right from the get-go.

Dion Jordan is a hybrid, DE/LB out of the University of Oregon. You KNOW that Rex will fall in love with this kid, as versatility is a quality that is valued highly in the Rex Ryan defensive system. His performance at the combine, while injured, gave him a lot of credibility with the scouts as well. Of the available edge pass rushers, he appears to be the most complete of the bunch as well, so I know for sure that Jets’ fans are hoping that the visit goes well and we see Dion Jordan in the Green and White this fall.
