John Idzik and company have announced three signings, all of whom with experience in the Arena League.

The three guys they signed are, DT Junior Aumavae, DB Eric Crocker, and WR Thomas Mayo.

Aumavae is 6’2″, 310 pounds, and was a free agent signee of the Dallas Cowboys last May, but was waived prior to training camp. He spent time with the Tampa Bay Storm of the AFL as well as the Green Bay Blizzard and the Fairbank Grizzlies of the Indoor Football League (IFL).

Mayo was with the Oakland Raiders for the 2012 training camp before being waived. He played for the Arena League Chicago Rush in 2012.

Crocker played for the San Antonio Talons of the Arena League last year, recording 70.5 tackles, 13 passes defended and 3 interceptions.

These aren’t big moves, obviously, but it does show us that Idzik and his team are getting to work. Could these guys just be bodies to fill out the mini-camp/training camp roster? Maybe, I guess we will find that out soon enough.
