No Huddle on Seahawks vs. Redskins

A couple of quick thoughts out of the no-huddle on tonights Seahawks victory:

  • Welcome to the second season, Russell Wilson.  67 yards rushing and 187 yards passing with 1 TD on the day, Wilson did everything necessary.  Kudos to Russell for living up to his end of the deal tonight.
  • Marshawn Lynch was in full “Beast Mode”, with 20 carries for 132 yards and 1 TD.  He basically was unstoppable all game long.
  • Whether it was smart or not to have RGIII in the game after he was hurt, you can never say anything about this young man’s courage.  He was doing everything he could to bring his team back after they fell behind.
  • That being said, it was not smart to keep him in that game, and Mike Shanahan will receive some well-deserved grief for it.  Even if Griffin said that he was OK, Shanahan needs to step up, see that Griffin is clearly having difficulty moving around, and get Kirk Cousins in that football game.  By the time he did, Cousins didn’t have a chance.
