No Huddle on Colts vs. Ravens

The seedings are all set in the AFC and the matchups are too. The Texans will head to New England, while the Ravens will go to Denver and play the Broncos. Going a little “no-huddle” with some quick thoughts on this afternoon’s game by the Colts:

  • It was a fitting performance and day for Ray Lewis to play his final home game.  Them allowing him on the field for the final snap was a perfect way to allow Baltimore to say goodbye to their prized son.  Leading his team with 9 total tackles wasn’t too shabby either.
  • Andrew Luck did not seem intimidated by the moment.  It wasn’t in the cards today, but he will be back, and more than once at that.
  • Was surprised to see Ray Rice put the ball down on the ground more than once this afternoon.  Bernard Pierce stepped up and played well, though, with 103 rushing yards over 13 carries.
  • This one came down to the Colts not cashing their drives in for touchdowns, settling for field goals instead.  If a team is good enough to have made the playoffs, they are not going to give you many chances in those situations, and especially not a defense that has Ray Lewis, Terrell Suggs and Ed Reed on the field.  They will make you p
