The Best of Rex Ryan

With Rex Ryan being retained for 2013, I thought it was time to have a little bit of fun. Whether you are a fan of the brash head coach or not, one thing you do know is that he gives great sound. At least he did in the first couple of years of his tenure in NY. Lately, he has been beaten down so badly by the media, he has been a shell of his former personality.

So I wanted to remind everyone how much fun Rex used to be. Take a look at these clips, of some of Rex’s best and funniest moments since he has been the coach of the Jets:

Everybody remembers the “snack” speech, but I had forgotten about some of those. Who knew that Rex was such a big fan of green bean casserole? That impersonation of his brother Rob was classic too. Great stuff. We can only hope that Rex will start to be his old self again in 2013.

You know why? It seems that with the mainstream media, Rex is damned if he does, and damned if he doesn’t. If he is going to get bad press, he might as well get it because he was being himself.
