Jets vs. Bills: Earning Their Wings

The final game is over and done with, as the Jets lose 28-9. It was another ugly one, but through the muck, here are the guys that earned their wings:

JEREMY KERLEY: Jeremy Kerley played well today, and did all season. Today, he finished with 3 catches for 88 yards. 56 catches for around 800 yards is not #1 wide receiver material, but it is pretty good. In a year that did not go well, Mark Sanchez got a lot out of this man, and he is going to be fun to watch for years to come.

SHONN GREENE/BILAL POWELL: The running game was strong today. Both of the guys rushed for over 4 yards per carry, Greene ran it 19 times for 74 yards, and Powell ran it 12 times for 56 yards. Especially early in the football game, the Jets were moving the football on the ground. It could be a good sign heading into 2013.

BART SCOTT: In a game that very possibly will be his last in a Jets uniform, Bart Scott actually led the team in tackles today. It could be a nice goodbye performance for Rex’s right hand man on the field.
