Though expected, a tough break for a guy in his contract year.

Dustin Keller, as expected, was downgraded to out for tomorrow’s game, and did not travel with the Jets up to Buffalo. His ankle injury just isn’t improving, so although he was hopeful to play in the game against the Bills, sadly he won’t. As we said before, a tough break for a guy that is looking for a big pay day in this, the final year of his contract. It seems more and more likely that this will be the final week for Keller in a Jets uniform.

Two other guys were also downgraded to out, and left home in NY. Ellis Lankster will be out with a concussion, and Chaz Schilens will miss this one as well due to an ankle injury.

One break FOR the Jets is that 6’4″ tight end Scott Chandler will miss the game tomorrow as well. In the last meeting, Chandler recorded 4 catches for 38 yards and 1 TD. Losing him tomorrow is a break for the Jets.
