We are coming to the end of a disappointing 2012 season for our beloved Jets. For the first time since 2007, the Jets are guaranteed a losing season, entering tomorrow with a 6-9 record. It’s been a bizarre year, btu definitely one that we want to forget.
However, let’s take a look back at earlier this year, when these two teams last met. It was a time of great hope, when Buffalo came to town to take on the Jets. We didn’t know what we were going to see, thanks to the first team offense not scoring a TD during the preseason. What we got was an offensive explosion. Take a look at the Jets 48-28 win:
Alan has been a passionate Jets fan since 1985. Obviously, that means he is a glutton for punishment, as he has suffered through many Jets disappointments. He remembers Mark Gastineau's late hit in the 1986 AFC Divisional Playoff game like it was yesterday. There have been many more failures than successes, but through it all, Alan has remained true to the Gang Green. He has been blogging for the Jets on various websites for the past 5-6 years. He lives and breathes the NY Jets all year round, and is committed to bringing the Jets passion to "The Jet Press" on a daily basis. Alan has also been recently named to the Pro Football Writers Association. Like what you read? Hit him up on twitter at @thejetpress
