I guess we have deja vu all over again.

Just a few minutes ago, Rex Ryan announced that quarterback Greg McElroy is being evaluated for a concussion. He apparently had symptoms after the game on Sunday and didn’t tell anybody. Rex has ruled him out for Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills. In his place, it will not be Tim Tebow, it will be a return to Mark Sanchez.

Rex cited the fact that he is more famiiliar with Buffalo and better equipped to prepare for the game on short notice as the reason that Mark will be the starter. Tim Tebow is obviously not happy about this.

Is this a ploy to increase Mark’s trade value? Maybe to get his confidence back up for 2013? Or is it a statement once again, that they don’t feel that Tim Tebow is a good enough quarterback to start? This we will never know. What we do know is that Mark is back in the lineup, and Sunday will probably be the final time Tebow suits up in a Jets uniform.
