Jets vs. Titans: Thursday Injury Report

With the Jets game taking place on Monday night, the injury reports are all a day later, so today we have the first injury report of the week. First for the Jets:

WR Clyde Gates        Concussion
TE Dustin Keller       Ankle
WR Stephen Hill       Knee
DB Aaron Berry         Hamstring
RB Bilal Powell          Shoulder/Toe
LB Bryan Thomas     Chest

With two wide receivers and a tight end on this list, it’s no wonder that the Jets made an addition at wide receiver. It’s nice to have Braylon back. That being said………

DL Sione Pouha           Low Back
WR Braylon Edwards Hamstring

Edwards will have to be monitored all week long. We all know the story by now, that Pete Carroll felt that Braylon might miss the rest of the regular season, while the Jets have said that he has passed a physical and likely will play on Monday night. We will keep you up to date on Braylon as the week goes along.

DL Kenrick Ellis          Knee
QB Mark Sanchez       Low Back
OL Matt Slauson        Knee
TE Jeff Cumberland Wrist
LB Calvin Pace           Shoulder
OL Nick Mangold      Shoulder
LB Bart Scott             Toe
OL Brandon Moore  Hip
DB LaRon Landry    Heel
RB Joe McKnight    Ankle
QB Tim Tebow          Ribs
DL Damon Harrison Ankle
LB Ricky Sapp           Ankle

Tim Tebow being on this list is interesting. We reported earlier that Rex said that Tebow will be active as the number two quarterback, but his health won’t allow him to be the personal punt protector or run Wildcat plays. But yet, Greg McElroy is not a guarantee to be active. More interesting stuff from the land of the New York Jets.

Now, for the Tennessee Titans:

RB Chris Johnson       Ankle
LB Colin McCarthy     Concussion
DE Scott Solomon      Knee
WR Damian Williams Hamstring

Imagine the break it would be if Chris Johnson couldn’t go on Monday night…..ah we can dream.

DT Jurell Casey           Knee
T Michael Roos           Knee

WR Kenny Britt         Knee
S Michael Griffin        Neck
QB Jake Locker         Lt. Shoulder
DE Kamerion Wimbley Toe
