Bell is gone, is this the move to bring back Braylon Edwards?

Kahlil Bell Released, is Braylon Edwards Signing Imminent?

An interesting move coming from the Jets.

Adam Schefter is reporting that according to a source, the Jets have released running back Kahlil Bell. The source has been confirmed by Manish Mehta of the Daily News. Kahlil didn’t see much of the field during his time with the Jets, but he had a chance in the game against the Cardinals, and it did not go well. He had a crucial fumble in that game, and we really didn’t see him again.

The second part that Mehta has confirmed is the interesting part. Mehta has reported that the Jets plan to add a wide receiver to the active roster today. You know who that could mean. Braylon Edwards. Despite his comments about the Jets’ brass, this is now a realistic possibility. Coach Ryan has always had an affinity for Braylon Edwards, and Braylon would like to come back. Last night he tweeted that he and Mark Sanchez will meet again, and we know about his tweet from the other day in support of Mark. He could be an excellent stop-gap solution as the Jets close out the 2012 season.
