BREAKING NEWS: Braylon Edwards is Back with the New York Jets

Braylon is reuniting with Mark Sanchez.

This face is one that a guy named Mark Sanchez can love. Now, he is back with the New York Jets.

Multiple reports are coming out that it is official, the Jets put in a waiver claim for Braylon Edwards, and have been awarded his services. Braylon was released by the Seahawks, and the original thought was that the Jets would sign him after he cleared waivers, but they decided to make sure. They put in their claim, and he is now a Jet. The Flight Boys are back.

Knee jerk reaction, good move by the Jets. He has an undeniable familiarity with Mark Sanchez, and that is a welcome change. Some of his best days were as a member of the New York Jets, remember 2010 when Braylon recorded 53 catches for 904 yards and 7 TDs. Just don’t expect the world from this guy, as I said earlier, he has only recorded 23 catches and 1 TD over the past two seasons, spending a great deal of time injured.

But, he certainly is an upgrade on the players that are currently here and healthy. All in all, we have to give credit where credit is due. Not a bad move by the Jets at all.

Will have a more detailed reaction later on.
