Whether you like Mark Sanchez as a quarterback or not, you cannot deny the fact that the front office has not kept his weapons consistent, making changes to his group of weapons every season. One player that is a prime example, and one that a lot of fans that were disappointed that the Jets didn’t bring back, was Braylon Edwards. Braylon was here for both trips to the AFC Championship game, and had one of his best years as a pro in 2010, averaging 17.1 yards per catch. Early this morning, Braylon Edwards took his thoughts to Twitter to throw his support to his former quarterback:
Don’t blame Sanchez. I played there. Blame the idiots calling shots. Mark is a beast and will probe it when given a proper chance.
We all have our suspicions about what goes on behind the scenes at Florham Park. It’s interesting to hear a former player, and a prominent one, publically confirm our suspicions, even if it is a vague confirmation.
