Yeremiah Bell: “It’s Probably Our Best Defensive Game of the Year”

The Jets played a terrific game on defense. Yes, they were going against the mighty Ryan Lindley at quarterback, but you cannot take away all of the credit from the defense when they only allow a net of 137 yards. The Cardinals couldn’t run the ball, nor could they pass the ball. The defense played a complete game. Was it their best outing of the season? Safety Yeremiah Bell seems to think so. Take a look:

I’d have to say so. I’d have to say it’s probably our best defensive game of the year. I think they were 0-15 on third down so that’s a nice improvement from where we came from.

The Jets played close to this in the game against the Indianapolis Colts, but it is hard to argue against yesterday’s game when you hold the offense to 137 yards, and 0-15 in third down conversions. If there is one thing we learned on the defensive side of the football yesterday, is that the Jets defense is not far off from being dominant again.
