Here is the final injury report for Sunday’s game, first for the Jets:
WR Clyde Gates (concussion)
CB Aaron Berry (quadricep), DT Sione Pouha (back), LB Ricky Sapp (ankle), QB Tim Tebow (ribs)
TE Jeff Cumberland (wrist), DT Kenrick Ellis (knee), TE Dustin Keller (illness), WR Jeremy Kerley (heel, hamstring illness), S LaRon Landry (heel), C Nick Mangold (thumb), RB Joe McKnight (ankle), G Brandon Moore (hip), LB Calvin Pace (shoulder), RB Bilal Powell (shoulder), QB Mark Sanchez (back), WR Chaz Schilens (concussion, hip), LB Bart Scott (toe), G Matt Slauson (knee), CB Kyle Wilson (illness)
As we reported earlier, ESPN reported that Tim Tebow will be deactivated for Sunday’s game, paving the way for Greg McElroy. At practice, Rex Ryan would not admit that a decision has been made regarding Tebow but he did state that there is “a possibility” that McElroy will be active on Sunday. The only non-participant in practice was Gates, so with a concussion, we are not likely to see him on Sunday.
And now for the Arizona Cardinals:
WR Laron Byrd (head), DE Calais Campbell (calf), WR Early Doucet (ribs), QB Kevin Kolb (ribs), WR Andre Roberts (ankle), RB Chris Wells (knee)
S Justin Bethel (shoulder), LS Mike Leach (back), RB William Powell (shoulder), S Kerry Rhodes (back)
The only one who didn’t participate in practice was Andre Roberts, but I have not heard anything leading me to believe that Kolb will be under center come Sunday. It still appears that will be seeing Ryan Lindley, which is good news for the Jets.
