Well, no matter how entertaining, or not entertaining, the game against the Patriots turns out to be, there will be some big name entertainment at halftime.
The team announced this afternoon that they have tapped singer-songwriter Lenny Kravitz to perform at halftime of Thursday night’s game against the Patriots. Kravitz has been making albums and performing for audiences across the globe since his debut on the music scene in 1989.
He won his first award at the MTV Video Music Awards in 1993 for “Best Male Video” for, Are You Gonna Go My Way?. He earned the Grammy award for “Best Male Rock Vocal Performance” for five years in a row, dating from 1999-2003. More recently, Kravitz has toured with the band U2, and has even dipped his toe in acting, taking a role in the recent move, “The Hunger Games”.
He will bring his immense talents to the MetLife stadium stage for an entertaining halftime show, we can only hope that the game will be as entertaining. Otherwise, it will be a long night for all of us.
