Halftime: Jets Lead 13-7

For the first time since October 14th, the Jets lead at halftime, over the Rams 13-7. Sanchez connected with Chaz Schilens for the only Jets offensive TD of the game, marking the first offensive TD in 10 quarters. Nick Folk accounted for the rest of the scoring with 2 FGs.

The defense bent a bit on the first drive, but they have caused 2 turnovers, one on a strip sack by Mo Wilkerson, recovered by Bart Scott, and the other by Eric Smith. The Smith play set up the Sanchez TD

Tebow, on the other hand, frankly has looked disinterested on the sidelines, with one yard rushing on the game, and calling for a very ill-advised fake punt. The Rams had their regular defense in the game, and Tebow should have left the play as a regular punt, instead of calling for the fake that had no chance of being successful.

Second half coming up, let’s see if the Jets can hang onto this one and move to 4-6.
