In just a few hours, the Jets take on the Seattle Seahawks in a tough matchup on the west coast. Among other storylines that are involved today, is a reunion with two former teammates that were favorites amongst Jets nation. Old friends Braylon Edwards and Leon Washington will be on the field today, two guys that were, and still are, beloved by Jets fans all over. With that, I thought it might be nice to take a trip down memory lane, and look at some tape from back in the day, when these guys donned the Green and White.

First a little Leon Washington:

It was fun to watch him run back kicks, wasn’t it?

And now, some Braylon Edwards memories:

He was a terrific threat in the red zone. His chemistry with Mark Sanchez was also a thing of beauty. Other than the one season in Cleveland that he was great, he did his best work with Mark Sanchez and the Jets.

Enjoy the game this afternoon. Hopefully these two guys don’t hold a grudge.
