Three Still Not Practicing for the Jets

He is smiling here, but Bart Scott is one of three guys not smiling now as he sits for the New York Jets.

Just a few minutes ago, Jets coach Rex Ryan announced that Bart Scott, along with Kenrick Ellis and Joe McKnight, will not practice today. All three are hampered by injuries that have bothered them since before the bye week.

We will monitor these guys all week long. Rex has said in the past that Bart doesn’t have to practice in order to be out there on Sunday. Joe McKnight has played quite a bit through his ankle sprain as well, so we will be keeping an eye on him, as we know how lethal a weapon he is in space.

In other news, guys likely to be limited in practice are Eric Smith, Bilal Powell, Jeff Cumberland, and Sione Po’uha. Later in the day, we should have the full injury report for both teams, Seattle and the Jets, as the teams make it available.
