The Jets announced two moves this morning, both to the practice squad.

The first was the re-signing of RB John Griffin. As you may recall, Griffin was with the Jets during the preseason, before being waived during a round of cuts in August. He entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2011, after rushing for 843 yards and 5 TDS on 168 carries in his senior year at the University of Massachus.etts.

The other was linebacker DJ Bryant. He was signed in 2012 by the Texans as an undrafted free agent. He played the preseason before being waived, and his travels included time on the practice squads of Tampa Bay and Indianapolis before winding up in the same role with the Jets. In four seasons at James Madison, Bryant recorded 118 tackles, including 27.5 for a loss, and 12.5 sacks.

The Jets have two open roster spots on the active group, but no move has been announced yet. When the Jets make a move we will bring it to you as always.
