2009 New York Jets: Video Look Back

There isn’t a lot of hope in Jet Nation these days. It’s understandable, as they are 3-5. Getting to a playoff-worthy record from here is a tall order, as we discussed earlier today. It’s possible, but difficult. People have even begun to wonder if Rex Ryan could lose his job over the use of Mark Sanchez, and the lack of use of Tim Tebow.

It seemed like a good time to look back a bit, specifically, to 2009. The Jets were in a large hole that year as well, so much so that Rex announced to the press that the Jets were out of the playoffs. It turned out they weren’t, they got in with a 9-7 record, and made their way to the AFC Championship game. Let’s look at some tape, enjoy!

Just wanted to take a look back, remind ourselves that the Jets, and Rex Ryan, have gotten out of big holes before. We will see soon enough if the Jets can do it again.
