Shonn Greene put up a career high in yards last week with his 161, and tied a career high with 3 TDs. The ground and pound finally took shape, better than it has all season to date. But this is a different team they are going up against on Sunday. The Patriots are 4th in the league against the run, and many have said that a lot of this game will be on Mark Sanchez’s shoulders. Coach Ryan, however, will not let the team get away from its philosophy, as tough as it might be to execute it today:

Yeah, but I still think you have to run. There’s no question about that, but having Vince (Wilfork) in the middle (is an advantage). Indianapolis doesn’t have anybody like that. A lot of teams in this league don’t have anybody like that. He’s an unusual guy. (He’s) a big, stout guy in the middle. Like I said, in a short area, this guy has unusual quickness for a man his size as well. There are other good players as well. Both of their inside linebackers are good. They have (Kyle) Love, who is pretty good as well. It’s a solid front seven without question. It’s going to be tough to run the ball but that doesn’t mean we don’t think we can run the ball.

In just a little while, we will see how they look.
